Why do we have opening titles?

 

To show character or actors in the film.

To show the genre.

To show who the director and the producers.

Sets the mood.

Draws the audience in, makes them keep watching.

First impressions, gives an insight

 

Titles are used to acknowledge the work of the cast and crew on a product.
